LINE-UP INSTRUCTIONS & DIRECTIONS
Where to Line Up Line-up will take place on Palmetto Blvd. (600 Block) starting at Atlantic Street. The parade will begin at the intersection of Atlantic St. & Palmetto Blvd. and will end at the Pavilion/EnMarket Gas Station.
Parade Leaders This is the group that leads the parade, it includes the Grand Marshal, Mayor & Town Council, County Council, and Sheriff’s Office. Anyone in this category should plan to show early to secure their spot. Otherwise, you may have to wait to pull to the front once the road is closed right before the parade begins.
Arrival & Order of Entry

One lane (left lane) must remain open for through-traffic.
Please pull as far to the right/ocean side as possible and use caution at all times.
Line-up begins at 1:00 PM. Please arrive with enough time to get in place safely before the 2:00 PM start.
Aside from the official parade leaders listed above and the fire trucks/Santa at the end, all other entries line up in the order they arrive.
Line-Up will be in the right lane, please be sure to pull up behind the person in front of you to leave room for everyone else behind you.

You will receive a numbered sign during line-up to help judges identify your entry.
Judges will be stationed at a house along Palmetto Blvd.
We will provide the exact location during line-up on parade day.
Please stop briefly in front of the judges so they have enough time to view your entry.
Judges will select winners in two categories, based on how festive and on-theme your entry is:
Best Float/Trailer
Best On Wheels (Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Golf Carts, Scooters & Bikes)
A runner-up award will also be presented in both categories.
Winners will receive their awards and take photos immediately after the parade, and results will be posted on the Edisto Chamber website and social media (@EdistoChamber).
